TONY GARDO

KEYBOARDS / SAX / VOCALS

My father played the sax & my mother was a pianist, so I grew up surrounded by music.
In 1987, I attended The Art Institute of Atlanta and studied many musical classes & music business courses.
While in Atlanta I explored the booming live music scene & fell in love with entertaining people with my music.
I worked with a couple of Atlanta's best rock & roll groups & toured the east coast from 1988-1993,
then moved to Greenville, SC & met THE OATH.
I had the best time of my musical career with these guys touring the east coast
& opened for Alice Cooper on Alice's 'Brutal Planet Tour'.
We worked relentlessly.
In 1999 we recorded the CD "Realistic Dreamers" & it has had numerous airplay time of our original songs.
Due to raising my only daughter,
I had to take a break from the busy road schedule with the OATH in 2000 & had to give a notice.
I hated leaving the band but knew that we would rejoin sometime in the future
because we shared such a good musical vibe & worked very well together.
Spending time at home with my daughter I played with church bands for a few years,
& then started touring the world playing as the party band on Princess Cruise Lines.
I worked with 2 cruise bands- ON THE ROXX & STRAIT UP from 2007-2011.
I came home & just like fate,
I rejoined the OATH at the start of 2012 &
we remain happily together working nonstop performing our shows.
LIFE IS GREAT!
